API's Recruiting Process

API uses the following proven recruiting process to find you the best technological resources:

  • We work with our clients to draft a detailed, accurate job description. During this process, we gain critical knowledge of your environment and determine the technical as well as interpersonal skills necessary for success;
  • Conduct extensive searches of internal databases and on-line resources; candidate name sourcing; and, from third-parties (when appropriate);
  • Identify 5 qualified candidates for each position;
  • Conduct an interview to assess basic technical and interpersonal skill of all candidates;
  • Select the two best candidates for an intensive interview that focuses on technical skills as well as interpersonal skills for each position the candidate is being considered;
  • If the candidates pass the intensive interview, API conducts a background check, drug screening, and reference checks.
  • Submit candidate to client.
  • If a candidate fails a background check, drug screening, or reference checks we look to the next best of the original 5 candidates.
